The Flower Post

WARNING: Only for people who think plants are fascinating. If you do, please continue.

As we've rolled along our trails, or strolled along city streets, I've stopped Heidi about a million times to take pictures of flowers I like, and other random shots of pretty flower arrangements. French municipalities seem to take great pride in their floral displays. We've seen sweet peas, daisies, poppies, and possibly some relative of morning glories in the wild, and hollyhocks, the white fleur de lys and lemon and lime trees in gardens.

Heidi generally knows what the plant is, but sometimes they're unidentified (especially the 1st one). Help from the gallery is welcome.

This tree lined the canal leaving Agen, and its flowers smelled wonderful. A bit farther south we passed more but the flowers had all fallen.
These were a welcome sight after a tough climb up straight up a mountain above Revel (on foot - we got off the bikes early in the climb)
These were in a city park in lower Carcassonne
