And I thought I was in shape. Haven't biked hills like that (see the sample below) since the back roads of Guilderland when I lived in Albany circa 1986. Tomorrow its back to nice, flat rail trails.

The dreaded long climb. Heidi always pulled far ahead on these challenges. Whenever I thought a heart attack was imminent, I jumped off and walked for a while. Must have driven her crazy ;)

So many vineyards! Some with young plants, others with mature vines, fallow fields every so often. It's all so very organized.
